This is OLD news... back from when we moved to Korea, but I have some catching up to do, so bear with me. :)
By the time the Nature Girl's birthday had rolled around, we had met many more families, so we were able to invite them over for a birthday party. We had such a great time! Aug 28, 2009
The Nature Girl's Birthday Cake made by mommy
I set up several tables around the living room. This ended up as the little kids' table. Here the Nature Girl has a taco hanging out of her mouth.
All the Korean children sat together at this table. I think they were a bit nervous to be surrounded by so many American children when they don't speak English. The oldest boy understands English the best. He is Hiyoung's brother, Hamon. The twins, Meana and Sua joined us, too!
Time to blow out the candles
Look at that happy face!
The Nature Girl eating cake with her guests
Mikayla, Aisha and the Artist enjoying their cake
This turned into the "big kids" table
The Artist wanted to make something for her sister for her birthday. She colored a folded heart. It was so sweet.
Cool clay to play with from the twins(I love this stuff!)
A purse from the twins
Art supplies and new toothbrushes from Mikayla
A bug made out of clay from Hamon. So nicely made!
Window Cling kit from Hiyoung
A Dora building kit from Aisha
Puzzles and Barbie art supplies from Yani and Zay
We have been blessed to have met so many neat people in such a short time of being here... it has only been 2 months! God has provided so much for us!
